Darcy is a sweet 2 - 3 year old little girl who came to us from a shelter in rural Missouri. Having spent most of her life in a shelter, everything in the outside world is new and a little bit scary to her - but she has made great progress and has recently found her 'feisty' side. Darcy loves to play with her two foster sisters (who are twice her size!) and now most of the time she is the one who initiates the play. She'll need a forever family who has a lot of patience and love and will give her the time she needs to get comfortable with new things and people. Her kisses are worth it!

The adoption fee for Darcy is $300

Kids 4 Paws

Kids4Paws is for the
youth rescue volunteers
(ages 10-17) of Placing Paws.
Youth volunteers help with
public awareness campaigns
in Lake County, Illinois
(eg. school presentations), fundraisers, adoption events, and some hands-on animal care as well as participate in fun and educational field trips
(visiting other rescues,
meeting professionals who
work with animals, etc.).
